37 hours per week

Permanent term-time only contract plus one additional day

This is an opportunity to join us in making a significant difference to the students at St Wilfrid's.


The post holder is expected to provide pastoral and behaviour support for all students including those with learning, behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.


To support the work of the Inclusion department, working with all school staff including teachers, higher level teaching assistants (HLTA) and learning support assistants to enable students to realise their potential academically and personally.

Pastoral colleagues work to support students and families to raise standards of student behaviour and conduct throughout the school day.


All staff working in the Pastoral Support Team are required to work flexibly to provide cover for the priority work of absent colleagues or vacancies.


St Wilfrid's Catholic High School & Sixth-Form College is a mixed voluntary Academy for 11-18 year olds, based in North Featherstone in West Yorkshire.

There are currently 1,534 students in attendance. The school opened in 1963 and has a proud history.

We were judged as Good by Ofsted in June 2016; we were also judged as Good by the Diocesan Section 48 Inspection in April 2017.


We are proudly part of the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust which comprises of three Secondary Schools and twelve Primary Schools.
