As our business continues to experience rapid growth, our People Team plays a vital role in supporting and empowering our managers and their teams, comprising over 600 individuals working across diverse field, operational, and office-based positions.
About the role
Your main areas of focus will be:
- Working with Managers and Leaders to provide guidance and advice on various employee relations matters, creating templates and tools for use across the Group.
- Coaching, guiding, and influencing Line Managers on best practices related to a wide range of ER issues, with the option to refer to external services when needed.
- Identifying Peoplerelated areas of risk for the Company and proposing solutions.
- Regularly reviewing and updating company policies.
- Supporting project delivery within the People Team when required.
- Collaborating with the Internal Communications team to enhance our employee voice.
- Working with the training team to deliver capability development for managers' people skills.
About you:
- You possess proven experience in a similar role within a growing business, ideally with exposure to the construction or manufacturing sectors and/or experience with remote and operational teams
- Qualified or actively studying towards CIPD Level 5 (preferred)
- Ability to design clear and equitable company policies, harmonized across the Group
- Strong problemsolving skills and a cando attitude
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills to build relationships with stakeholders
- Demonstrated understanding of the latest people processes in the profession and an ability to introduce a structured way of working
