Job Description:
The role holder will need a vision to:
- Create, define and own the vision and plan to enable data & AI/ ML platform capability across the Group
- Create, define and own the vision and plan for enabling real time event notification, mass personalisation, conversational banking and intelligent automation with relevant ML and AI services
- Create the vision and plan for creation of reusable data products
- Create the vision and plan for enabling the creation, consumption and scaling of AI/ ML services by other LBG platform teams, in a consistent and standardised way
- Create, define and own the roadmap of AI and ML capabilities delivered by the central platform team, starting with Transaction Classification System, Vertex A.I, Anomaly Detection and Network analytics capabilities
- Create, define and own the vision and plan for how users across the Group access and consume Data and Analytics from the Cloud Platform and deliver a significant shift in colleague experience for Data and Analytics practitioners
- Create, define and own the vision and plan for MLOps capability to enable rapid deployment of ML/A.I and continuous monitoring of outcomes
The role holder will need to be:
- A role model for the future of AI & ML in financial services
- Able to integrate into business strategies whilst maintaining constant alignment to drive the enablement of business outcomes
- Work in transparent partnership with cloud, security, risk and technology teams to deliver at pace
- Creation and implementation of appropriate risk and control frameworks for a modern cloud based platform
- Appropriate challenge of the Group's risk appetite to ensure data & analytics capabilities are achieved with mínimal barriers
- Create cross functional teams to enable commercialisation of the AI/ML capabilities
- Build a committed leadership team, with relevant technical skills and experience holding overall responsibility for growing the skills and capabilities of an engaged, diverse workforce.
- Attract, retain and develop talent across the platform, with a focus on creating best in class capabilities and significantly impacting the permanent to partner ratio, starting with leadership roles
- Inspire and engage team members and colleagues to deliver the extraordinary
- Exemplifies a culture of learning, continuous improvement and radical transformation
The role holder will work with stakeholders to:
- Develop and maintain relationships of trust with GEC members. Identifies priorities, issues and strategic challenges, engaging fully in the discussion and embedding data & AI/ ML capabilities in strategic discussion
- Act as the visionary for data & analytics opportunities across the Group advocating for the capability
