Description

The Chief Technology Officer will be responsible for developing and delivering a strategy and vision to ensure that the corporate IT infrastructure is "fit for purpose" to ensure the operational delivery of effective IT and Information Services and the Corporate IT and Clinical Applications are developed and Integrated in line with the strategic needs of the business for University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust and the Other Supported Organisations.

The post holder will play a prominent role in organisational development and strategic leadership, business change, and championing new and transformational ways of working within the IM&T Service.


The post holder will be responsible for the management of the Information Technology Infrastructure and Development functions within the Trust.

The post holder will lead dynamic teams to ensure that the corporate IM&T service provides support to the Trust.

**Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.
