REED talent Solutions are recruiting for residential support workers for a mainstream children's home in the S6 area of Sheffield.

This is a temporary but ongoing role - 37 hours per week.

Pay rates are from £10.50 p/h rising to £19.15 per hour - increasingafter 12 weeks to £13.71 p/h to £25.14 per hour.

You will be responsible for:

  • Corporate parenting
  • ensuring the young people will havethe independence skills they need
  • Adhering to all policies and procedures in line with OFSTED requirements and policies
  • Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for the young people
  • Liaising with other staff members and agencies
  • Accurate reporting and record keeping

Requirements:


  • Enhanced DBS Check


  • REED Compliance

  • Referencing, Training and Document checks
  • A minimum of 6 months experience working with children with
  • Tact, patience, resilience, and the ability to cope in difficult situations
  • The ability to work in teams with other professionals
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service would be a great advantage as this is an asap start. REED will be conducting all compliance checks on behalf of the client.
