St George's is the UK's specialist health university, offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Medicine and Allied Health professions. We are currently recruiting for 1x UCAS Admissions Officer, and 1x Direct Admissions Officer. The UCAS team looks after the majority of our undergraduate programmes, focusing on Medicine, Science and Allied Health professions. Our Direct team looks after the majority of our postgraduate programmes, including Genomic Medicine and Global Health.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an admissions or higher education professional who wishes to oversee the admissions process for a suite of courses, within a supportive and collaborative team.

The admissions team sits within the University's Registry, and has close working relationships with several departments including programme administration, student services, student recruitment and marketing.

St George's small and specialist nature allows for collaboration across the whole applicant experience, from enquiry to enrolment.

Key attributes of the successful applicant include:

  • A strong commitment to customer service
  • High attention to detail including when under pressure
  • The ability to prioritise and manage a high volume of work
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A good understanding of higher education


Due to the applicant-facing nature of the admissions team, the post-holder will be expected to work on-site at least 60% of the time.
