We are looking for a trainee production operative to join a small and friendly factory in Bedminster to manufacture blinds. Full Training is provided - so no experience is needed.
You will be required to work out of Bedminster
6am to 3pm Monday to Thursday and 6am to 9:30am Friday or 7am-4pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 7am to 10:30am

Role:

The role is making and manufacturing the blinds so we are looking for someone eager and hardworking and your role would be making pleated blinds on a assembly line.

The purpose of the role is to manufacture blinds and insect screens in accordance with Work Instructions, Build Instructions and Quality Standards as directed by the Production Supervisor.

You will be trained and inducted on your first shift. Great fun in a lovely clean warehouse with the radio on.

Tasks:

Manufacture as per build instructions:
Roller blinds.
Pleated blinds.
Pinoleum blinds.
Manufacture Insect Screens as per build instructions.
Cut and prepare metalwork for blinds manufacture.
Cut and paint wood products as required.
General factory maintenance and housekeeping as directed.
Complete manufacturing job documentation.
Quality checks as per Quality Inspection Instructions.
Any other task as directed by Production Supervisor.

£10.00 an hour, Overtime rate is: £12.50 for any hours over 37.5
