Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team.

As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machines to bend, shape, and form sheet metal according to specifications.

Duties:

Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, shape, and form sheet metal
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specifications
Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings for each job
Position and secure sheet metal onto the machine bed using clamps or other holding devices
Monitor machine operations to ensure proper bending angles and dimensions are achieved
Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Experience:

Previous experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and techniques
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations
Familiarity with various tooling used in press brake operations
Familiarity with Amada and Trumpf press brakes
