HR Advisor

We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to work with a Sussex-based charity that offers support and guidance to people across the county.

Full Time

Salary:
£28,943, per annum

Contract:
Permanent

About the role:

As the HR Advisor, you will support the delivery of comprehensive Human Resources services to all areas of the Charity.

You will support line managers at all levels, providing expert advice and coaching on a range of operational HR issues.

You will ensurethe charity is compliant with policies and procedures relevant to employment legislation.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

Act as the primary point of contact to answer queries from the charities managers and staff
Build effective working relationships with staff at all levels
Manage an employee caseload, advising managers with matters related to a number of HR areas.
Undertake staff consultation meetings
Take the lead on a monthly payroll, ensuring all information is clearly communicated to the finance department
Manage the recruitment of new staff across the organisation
Delivery of HR training
Take the lead on absence management monitoring to ensure the policy is followed
Maintain HR records
Produce and analyse HR reports

About you:

Some essential skills and experience you will need include:

Experience working in HR at an advisor/Officer level
Experience in delivering effective training
Knowledge of HR systems
HR qualifications or willingness to work towards one
Excellent relationshipbuilding skills
An uptodate knowledge of employment law
High level of accuracy in your work
