Description
Responsibilities
- Developing and enhancing existing process documentation.
- Develop, enhance and maintain operational processes and procedures, including data QC and validation, to ensure a consistent, correct, complete and timely collection and processing of specified sources.
- Coordination with other IT teams to acquire records that are not directly accessible.
- Perform data collections using industry standard tools such as EnCase, Forensic Toolkit, Veritas Discovery Accelerator etc.
- Processing / searching of acquired data.
- Perform data culling and processing using industry standard software such as Nuix.
- Export and package deliverables for review platforms or subsequent processing.
- Provide troubleshooting services to clients.
- Communication with Legal, Regulatory Business requestors (internal clients), IT teams and external providers.
- Ability to clearly set timeline expectations and priorities.
- Ability to define tasks across all support organizations.
- Maintain tracking and reporting for various support teams and up lines.
- Potentially work additional hours beyond regular schedule to meet customer commitments which may include evenings and weekends.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with eDiscovery tools, in particular Veritas Discovery Accelerator; Gimmal Discovery Attender.
- Familiar with standard eDiscovery methodology.
- Microsoft Office (including advanced Excel).
- Electronic Mail (Exchange).
- Ability to engage effectively to internal Clients (notably General Counsel and H.R.) (i) to understand requirements for a particular request (ii) to turn Business requirements into technical requests / activities (iii) to summarize and present the resulting information back to the Business requestor.
- A high degree of discretion is required for this role.
- Excellent documentation skills to ensure that key processes are documented in an effective manner.
- Ability to work onsite at the client's office 23 days per week in Canary Wharf.
Desirable
- An understanding of Microsoft and Unix based distributed computing environments is beneficial to understand what records of electronic communications are available.
- Awareness of trading settlement systems to understand the type of records these systems hold.
- Awareness of trading / market data IM (e.g. Reuters, Bloomberg) functionality.
- Scripting ability to allow ad hoc requests to process unstructured data to be effectively handled (e.g. Perl, Python).
Pay:
£35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

- London, EC2N 4AD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
