Staff 365 have partnered with a market leader with a 60% market share and over 750 employees at their North Yorkshire facility.

Salary:
£70,000 - £80,000 + company car/car allowance

Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday, 07:00 - 16:4- 3 day weekend

Additional benefits:

32 days holiday (inc BH)

Bonus - 10%, combination of business and personal performance

5% employer pension contribution, 3% employee contribution

Overview:

The purpose of this role is to lead and develop the site materials & logistics teams, supporting the operations team through optimised inventories and service levels.

Ensure standard Group policies and processes are implemented and sustained, while driving CI initiatives.

Ambassador for the site in terms of supplier relationship management, from dealing with supply escalations to improving supplier responsiveness & reducing logistics or handling costs.

Responsibilities:

Lead and develop the materials, planning and logistics functions

Champion 5S standards and maintain high standards of housekeeping

Implement Group strategies, policies and procedures throughout material planning and warehousing

Implement and utilise the appropriate functionality within ERP/MRP systems

Assess and drive CI initiatives in line with business strategy with a focus on improved deliverables at the highest efficiency

Experience required:

Warehouse and logistics management

Supplier relationship management

Leading and influencing a team to deliver on specified objectives and establish commitment through times of change

Understanding of MPS & MRP principles and systems

Knowledge and understanding of Lean principles and material supply methodologies

Minimum of 5 years in a similar role preferable
