The opportunity:


We are looking for a dedicated Employment Lawyer who is confident dealing with Director-level clients and has a proven track record in advising businesses on all employment-related matters.

This role will include contentious and non-contentious employmentlaw so extensive knowledge of both will be necessary.


You will need to be an empathic communicator as well as have initiative, motivation, and drive to add value to the team.


Key tasks include:


  • To undertake feeearning work, working both independently, with mínimal supervision, and as a member of the team
  • To maintain existing relations with the firm's clients and assist and help develop new relationships with thirdparty referrers.
  • Reviewing and amending employment contracts and consultancy contracts, HR policies, and staff handbooks to ensure they are comprehensive, uptodate, and compliant with current employment law and best practices.
  • Advising on all HR matters including performance management, absence management, disciplinary processes, grievance processes and procedures, equality act matters, and anticompete issues.
  • Management of employment litigation including unfair dismissal, discrimination, and restrictive covenants.
  • Advising on all aspects of TUPE, redundancy, and reorganisation including consultation processes, risk areas, varying terms, and conditions.
  • Advising on settlement agreements.

  • At least 18 months PQE
