The opportunity:
We are looking for a dedicated Employment Lawyer who is confident dealing with Director-level clients and has a proven track record in advising businesses on all employment-related matters.
You will need to be an empathic communicator as well as have initiative, motivation, and drive to add value to the team.
Key tasks include:
- To undertake feeearning work, working both independently, with mínimal supervision, and as a member of the team
- To maintain existing relations with the firm's clients and assist and help develop new relationships with thirdparty referrers.
- Reviewing and amending employment contracts and consultancy contracts, HR policies, and staff handbooks to ensure they are comprehensive, uptodate, and compliant with current employment law and best practices.
- Advising on all HR matters including performance management, absence management, disciplinary processes, grievance processes and procedures, equality act matters, and anticompete issues.
- Management of employment litigation including unfair dismissal, discrimination, and restrictive covenants.
- Advising on all aspects of TUPE, redundancy, and reorganisation including consultation processes, risk areas, varying terms, and conditions.
- Advising on settlement agreements.

- Knowledge of contentious and noncontentious employment law
- At least 18 months PQE
