IT Project Manager £50-55k Home working

Key responsibilities of an IT Project Manager:

  • Manage a range of digital projects for the group's business and IT department
  • Project financial and accounting administration duties
  • Managing project plan, tasks and activities
  • Tracking the resource management
  • Provide guidance and advice as well as independent validation to ensure effective delivery and progress of the project
  • Provide regular reports and updates as well as chairing project meetings, raising risks and issues.
  • Maintaining project documentation

Accountabilities of an IT Project Manager:

  • Create and maintain the risks and issues log
  • Manage the demand and change of control
  • Be the driver for allocated projects ensuring they get delivered to scope and on time
  • Create project plans and project initiation documentation
  • Monthly KPI reporting on project status and project finance KPIs

Requirements of an IT Project Manager:

  • Knowledge of project management software
  • Experience in resource management, project triage, charge management and conflict resolution
  • Experience working within digital projects
  • Managing multiple projects across an enterprise environment
  • Adaptable with a handson approach with the ability to provide leadership to a group of dispersed project resource.
  • Effectively manage time and priorities
  • Clarity of Communication within a team
  • Problem identification and solution
  • Assessing risks and decision making
