SWL Security services are looking for a Poole / Bournemouth based Security Officer to join a loss prevention team covering the south west area on a 40hrs a week contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with an SIA Approved Contractor in a specialist role. You will work closely with our legal department to directly confront criminal activity affecting our customers.

Your team will be deployed to various stores within our customers retail estate to intercept and effect the arrest of specifically selected offenders in order to serve exclusion notices and civil court injunction papers.

The primary areas of operation range from Dorset / Hampshire and Bristol (company vehicle provided).


Role specific training is provided by SWL security services, this includes arrest training, law classes, Control & Restraint and handcuff training.


This role is suitable for objective driven and results orientated people that are looking for full time, long term employment within a well established specialist business.


Job Type:

PAYE 40hrs per week


Salary:

£11.80 /hour - £13.00 (plus £150 call out payment)


Licence types required for role:

Full UK driving license:


  • SIA Licence Security Guarding
  • SIA Licence Door Supervisor
  • SIA Licence Close Protection

Other Requirement's:
-
Five Year checkable employment / education history for vetting purposes

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills report / statement writing
  • Previous experience in working in the retail environment is preferred.
  • Previous law enforcement experience is advantageous.

Salary:

£11.80-£13.00 per hour
