TM Technical are proud to be representing a brand new client based in Alloa who provides high quality products and an exemplary focus on customer service.

Our client delivers building materials direct from local quarries in Scotland. They prides themselves on their company ethos and have been established since 1973.

TM Technical are looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to work within the busy mobile team based in and around central Scotland.

What does a Maintenance Fitter look like within our client?

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager
You will carry out scheduled planned and reactive mechanical maintenance activities to maintain plant condition and performance to support the delivery of the weekly production schedules.
Monitor and maintain condition and performance of all our processing plants and associated equipment and identify any circumstances that could result in an impact on availability or performance while supporting the Engineering Manger to meet defined shift KPI targets.
Carry out mechanical activities as specified by Engineering Support Team and lead mechanical breakdown and breakin repairs to ensure expected plant reliability and to optimise plant and equipment performance.
Most effective mean time to repair methods to be adopted to minimise production disruption and downtime.

What we require for you to be considered for the Maintenance Fitter position?

Good knowledge of crushing, screening, conveying, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Fault finding ability to identify defects and recommend appropriate action
Good practical knowledge and experience of maintenance systems required
Ability to assess SHE risks arising from work activities and control risks accordingly
Knowledge of sitespecific SHE procedures and Safe Working Practices
Working knowledge of plant and machinery
Basic report writing
Have good welding and fabrication skills

Over time available (Time and a half over 39 hours and double time from Saturday 12 noon though to Sunday 6pm)
