WHAT TO EXPECT


As a Change Lead, you will play a vital role in "Protecting the Future of JLR" by fostering a culture of positive change and clear communication.

You will facilitate the adoption of new initiatives, projects and processes within the CS&BP department, aligning with our strategic goals to secure the company's future.

You will also be responsible for departmental and wider communication including crafting effective communication strategies, creating engaging content, and managing comprehensive communications to enhance internal understanding and engagement with our mission to Protect the Future of JLR.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the overarching governance that sits behind our Change portfolio: Protecting the Future of JLR ensuring all projects are equipped to report on progress and Steer committees are established and prepared.
  • Support Project teams in project delivery and/or reporting where required
  • Seek to understand the finer details and progress in each project, being curious about how their deliverables will impact our people; this is to ensure each project delivers robust and timely communication before change impacts our people
  • Facilitate the 6 weekly Steering Committee ensuring inputs are collated into the slide deck and content is issued for pre read where appropriate
  • Be an active project team member owning and driving deliverables (where agreed with Strategy manager and Project owner)
  • Utilise our Change Impact Assessment tool to identify how new projects should be managed in accordance with our Change framework
  • Manage the departmental communication channel looking at communication insights to help shape future messaging.
  • Be a creative content maker supporting our teams to help drive the message of Corporate Security and Business Protection into the wider business.
  • Develop an image bank of our people and processes that can be pulled upon whenever required for our internal communications.
  • Create the Quarterly newsletter showcasing great stories from around our department globally
  • Utilise multimedia communication methods where appropriate
  • Support our Quarterly Business Review inputs through creation of engaging communication videos

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- **Change Management Expertise**: Proven expertise in leading change is desirable. You should be skilled in conducting impact analysis, assessing change readiness, identifying key stakeholders, and developing plans to manage resistance to change.

Communication Skills: Exceptional written and oral communication skills to effectively articulate our mission and strategy, delivering clear and effective messages that resonate with various stakeholders.

Content Creation: Proficiency in creating engaging content that reflects our strategic goals. This includes crafting internal newsletters, company announcements, presentations, and multimedia content that aligns with and promotes the strategy of "Protecting the Future of JLR" specifically our mission to foster a Security Culture and Mindset for every person working at JLR.

Project Management: Ability to support multiple projects and tasks that contribute to our strategic objectives, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and scopes are adhered to.

Business Acumen: Clear understanding of business objectives and the ability to align your tasks to contribute towards "Protecting the Future of JLR".

Influencing Skills: Proven ability to negotiate, persuade, and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation in alignment with our strategic goals.
