Design and Technology Teacher required January 2023.

Are you an experienced design and technology teacher looking for your next challenge in education? Are you looking for a long-term position? Are you passionate about providing a high quality teaching experience?

Tradewind is currently looking for a DT teacher to start in January 2023 on a full-time basis in Sheffield.

The role will be to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in a variety of mixed ability classes and abilities.


As the main design and technology teacher you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum, marking students work and providing regular feedback, reporting on students' academic development to the senior leadershipteam.

The school is happy to considered teachers completing their ECT year.

The successful DT teacher will be joining a highly established department with excellent support networks.

Upon visiting the school, Tradewind was impressed with the state-of-the-art facilities available to students and staff, as well as having a large onsitecar park.

To be considered for the role you will need:

  • A DBS on the update system
  • Qualified teacher status
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
