Teacher Assistant in Year 4 Class

Day to Day Cover

Role Profile:


An outstanding school in Edgbaston is seeking for a full-time Teacher Assistant to work full-time in supporting the teacher in lessons and activities.

The school is looking for someone who has experience working as a Teacher Assistant, has enthusiasm in working with children and is keen to develop skills in the field.

You will be required to work collaboratively within KS1/2 classes and must be encouraging, hard-working, reliable, and enthusiastic.

Further duties will include supporting the children in their lessons and playtimes, as well as assisting the teacher where needed.


The school works in a two form entry so there will be another Teacher Assistant along with two Teachers within the team to help support you with planning your activities, ensuring the best teaching is provided for the students to triumph in their education.


Teacher Assistant Requirements:


  • Experience as a Teacher Assistant in Key Stage 1/2 classes.
  • Relevant credentials/qualifications in field.
  • Be an encouraging and kind individual.
  • Available fulltime

Salary:
£70.00-£90.00 per day

  • Edgbaston: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
