Working as part of our Microbiology Division (MBD), within the Specialty Diagnostics Group, you'll play an active part in helping us to achieve our mission to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.

The Microbiology Division discovers microbiological solutions for the diagnosis of infectious disease and detection of bacterial contamination.

We serve public health, clinical laboratories, food companies, environmental screening and pharmaceutical laboratories with a portfolio of products that include culture media, antimicrobial susceptibility testing solutions and market-leading molecular solutions for food safety testing.


Position Summary:


The artwork coordinator will manage the approval process for all artwork changes, assess impact to manufacturing and help rectify any issues that may occur in the implementation of these changes.

The individual will carry out artwork activities primarily for the local site and support the implementation of artwork requirements divisionally as part of a global artwork management team.

The individual will be responsible for managing, prioritising and monitoring the update of artwork products manufactured on site as well as third party vendors prior to implementation.


Responsibilities:


  • Design and management of local and divisional artwork.
  • Coordinate artwork approval process for packaging components ensuring compliance to regulations and originator requirements.
  • Manage and maintain artwork trackers, database, and systems.
  • Proof reading artwork for changes implemented.
  • Collaborate with artwork house/ suppliers on artwork and packaging requirements.
  • Act as SME for artwork administration in project teams, assist in management of artwork Projects (as appropriate).
  • Be a strong team player with the ability to build solid relationships with collaborators.
  • Update artwork files as directed by approved change documentation.
  • Administration of artwork approvals.
  • Liaison with Regulatory Affairs, QA and Marketing for artwork content guidance.
  • Approval of artwork proofs from third party suppliers.
  • Obtaining artwork translations.
  • Support the Regulatory team with technical files supplying approved artwork.
  • Work with manufacturing for the management of inhouse generated artwork.
  • Implement supporting tasks related to artwork projects such as CLP, UDI and re
- branding of products.

  • Assist Operations in troubleshooting process issues and facilitate interdepartment team workshops in the resolution of process issues and quality problems relating to artwork.
  • Analyse problems reported and develop improvements to overcome them.
  • Support and administration activities of the eQMS and website maintenance.
  • Create and maintain accurate quality records for all elements of the Quality Management System for Operations.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 years of experience in a regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of compliance and quality.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be a selfstarter who can take general concepts and direction and produce desirable results.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks functions effectively in a global, multisite organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a crossfunctional team.
  • Good experience with Graphic design and desktop publishing software packages: Acrobat pro, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.
