In this role responsibilities will include:
- Building and sustaining relationships with suppliers, supporting monthly supplier visits and remote calls
- Preparing agendas for supplier quarterly business reviews, attending and creating minutes
- Requesting quotes, clarifying price, lead times, etc.
- Raising purchase orders
- Running daily reports
- Processing invoices and solving billing queries
- Reviewing and creating Standard Job Instructions
- Building excellent working relationships with peers, colleagues, customers, suppliers, and other external stakeholders
- Providing admin support for wider supply chain function
Skills and Experience Required:
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills, proficient Microsoft Office (O365) user
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative, manage own time and priorities
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent level) including English and Maths at grades A*C or 5
- Previous work experience in an administrative environment would be beneficial but not essential
