In this role responsibilities will include:

  • Building and sustaining relationships with suppliers, supporting monthly supplier visits and remote calls
  • Preparing agendas for supplier quarterly business reviews, attending and creating minutes
  • Requesting quotes, clarifying price, lead times, etc.
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Running daily reports
  • Processing invoices and solving billing queries
  • Reviewing and creating Standard Job Instructions
  • Building excellent working relationships with peers, colleagues, customers, suppliers, and other external stakeholders
  • Providing admin support for wider supply chain function

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, proficient Microsoft Office (O365) user
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative, manage own time and priorities
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent level) including English and Maths at grades A*C or 5
  • Previous work experience in an administrative environment would be beneficial but not essential
Occasional travel may be required to travel to support business needs. All travel will be supported by an experienced member of the team.
