CCR is looking for a keen individual that likes working outdoors with a team for the local authorities in North Tyneside


Shift:
Monday to Thursday-7:30-4pm

Friday7:30-12:30


Job Role:

  • Sweep or litter pick highways / Pathways / Hard surfaces / Bus shelters / Steps
  • Report and clear spillages and remove of drug related litter and dead animals
  • Emptying / siting of dog / grit / litter bins.
  • Assist in winter maintenance operations grit bins, clearing pathways
  • Act in a professional manner at all times and promote the Council in a positive manner.
  • Be fully aware of health and safety requirements in relation to any task undertaken and ensure that safe working practices are adopted at all times.
  • Attend training and briefing sessions when requested and take personal responsibility to improve and develop your skills, knowledge and ability.
  • The need to adhere to adhere to Council's Policies and specifically the Equal Opportunities Policy, Health & Safety Policy and the Code of Conduct.
  • The need to comply with the Data Protection 1998 and the principles enshrined within it in respect of personal information held by the Council.
  • Carry out any other duties that may be required commensurate with the level of responsibility of the post.
