Description
ERM Systems Analyst required for a growing business in Blackburn paying £35k-£40k with some hybrid working an option.

They're seeking an ERM Systems Analyst to join their team to implement new projects and ongoing maintenance for their ERP systems.

The ERP Analyst will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and ongoing support of our ERP system.

The individual will work closely with various departments within the company to understand their business processes, identify areas for improvement,and implement solutions that increase efficiency and productivity.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through the use of ERP systems
  • Collaborate with various departments, including accounting, manufacturing, supply chain, and ecommerce, to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Provide development and support to staff across all company sites
  • Responsibility for systems upgrades and systems reporting
  • Understand, challenge and document processes and requirements
  • Develop and enhance ERP support
  • Assist with hardware and software installation, maintenance and configuration
  • Carry out tasks delegated by Technical Support
  • Create processes to streamline repetitive data entry
  • Provide support to prepare and maintain training material
  • Produce technical and nontechnical documentation
  • Report directly to the Group Technology Director
Skills / Attributes

  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a manufacturing and/or supply chain environment is a must
  • Understanding of accounting, MRP, CRM, stock management, manufacturing, warehousing reporting, and ecommerce integration
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to translate business processes into technical solutions
  • Good written and oral communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently
  • Calm under pressure and ability to work within fast paced environments
  • Basic networking knowledge
- 'Hands on' approach and a willingness to learn

  • Energetic, proactive, and a team player who asks questions and is always looking for ways to improve the system
  • IT certification(s) desirable (i.e. CompTIA, MCP etc)
  • Experience of Magento/Wordpress) desirable
