Main Responsibilities:

To manage a diverse workload efficiently and effectively in order to ensure that the Senior Management Team keeps on track of all aspects of the current workload, as well as supporting future business planning processes.

To handle and deliver decisions and actions without constant reference to the Senior Management Team; balancing when an issue needs to be escalated.

To horizon scan and flag key pieces of work or potential issues that the Senior Management Team would need to be aware of.

To establish a proactive and detailed in-box management system to provide assurance to the directorate that messages are being monitored and actioned at all times.


This would involve:

Acknowledging emails Highlighting important emails Drafting responses as appropriate Forwarding emails to appropriate members of the directorate for action Tracking/confirming actions have happened To take minutes and actions at high level meetings as required and ensure that these are distributed promptly.

To track actions from all meetings; highlighting actions to the Senior Management Team that they are expected to complete. Asking other members of the team to complete actions as applicable, tracking and chasing progress and completion. To ensure all correspondence and relevant materials are produced in a timely and accurate manner. To conduct research/ analysis as directed by the Senior Management Team of Managed Services.

Working in a professional manner; maintaining diplomacy, tact and confidentiality in communicating highly sensitive and contentious information with people of all levels within the organisation.
