We currently have an exciting role for a Payroll Supervisor providing an excellent opportunity to join the Moran Logistics team at our Castle Donington site.

The role works days, working 40 hours per week and offers excellent rates of pay.


About the Role:

Working within the payroll department this role is responsible for employee pay.

The job holder will supervise the overall payroll team and undertake a variety of other standard payroll tasks.

  • Calculating and processing employees pay by electronic transfer. This includes weekly, four weekly and monthly paid employees.
  • Calculating overtime and shift payments
  • Processing holiday, sick and maternity/paternity pay.
  • Ensuring correct PAYE/NI deductions are made and paid to HMRC on time.
  • Weekly RTI submission via Government Gateway website.
  • Process any employee Attachment of Earnings orders and ensure payments are made to the relevant authority on time.
  • Maintain Sage payroll system.
  • Issue P45's and other tax forms.
  • Answer any pay related queries.
  • General admin duties relating to payroll.
  • Communicating with other members of the Finance and HR departments.
  • P11D data capture and recording.

What we are looking for:


  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience of Accounting software i.e Sage would be an advantage however not essential.
  • An understanding of current legislation in areas such as payroll.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and timescales.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good communicator.
