Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Location:
Chessington (On site)

Salary:
£25,000-£28,000


We are currently working for a very exciting client who are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operations Supervisor on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to supervise 2 warehouse assistants and oversee the general warehouse operations on a daily basis.


Key Responsibilities For This Role Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Ensuring all stock is checked for damage and faults on delivery
  • Logging stock onto the software system and ensuring its efficient and effective storage
  • Ensuring the correct stock is loaded for outgoing deliveries
  • Reporting any damaged goods to the General Manager
  • Loading and unloading trucks and vans for deliveries
  • Ensuring the site is maintained to acceptable and safe standards, including housekeeping within the warehouse and front/back yard.
  • Supervising two warehouse assistants
  • General Warehouse admin
  • Forklift operations

Key Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience working in a warehouse environment
  • At least 1 years' experience in a Warehouse Supervisor role
  • Ability to carry out a significant amount of manual handling
  • Computer literacy
  • Health and Safety knowledge
  • Equipment maintenance
  • Current Forklift and Full and Current Driving License
