**Senior Family Support Worker - Family Intensive Support (Grade hours) Working fluidly across both Fylde and Wyre District and Lancaster District - Full time post Fixed term until September 2024
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Family Intensive Support (FIS)

Team.

This full time post as a Senior Family Support Worker is an excellent opportunity for the right person who has knowledge and experience of Early Help, working 1:1 with families providing targeted support, alongside experience of line managing a team of front line delivery Family Support Workers.

This is a new and exciting development opportunity to work fluidly across 2 districts in the North area of Lancashire.

You will be able to develop and build on your existing managerial skills.

You will join the North district team and will offer managerial support and case management oversight to our teams of Family support workers, as well as supporting with Case reflective supervisions, personal supervisions and Duty rota.

Your working week will be hybrid, working across both Fylde and Wyre and Lancaster districts.


As a FIS Senior Family Support Worker your principal focus will be the delivery of 'Family Intensive Support' (FIS) taking a whole family-based casework approach to respond to complex needs.

The post holder will provide support and caseload supervision for a nominated group of 'Family Support Workers (FIS)' They will be the principal line of management oversight, practice guidance and support for Family Partners delivering intensive support, assisting with smart action planning and actively tracking team caseload progress against agreed quality assurance measures and processes.

This is a great opportunity to Lead a team across both Fylde and Wyre and Lancaster.


Flexible working is required and some involvement in evening and weekend delivery may be required to meet the needs of families.

Senior Family Support Worker FiS will be line managed by the Team Manager FiS.
