Fawkes & Reece are working with an established and well known developer who work on New Build and RC Frame housing across Berkshire.

Your role as a Buyer will be to build on current and establish new relationships with the supply chain whilst enhancing the businesses professional credibility to deliver on projects.

You will work closely with a range of teams collaboratively to ensure that any projects are sufficiently resourced.

Working under the Senior Buyer to ensure all buying requirements are met.

You will be involved in (but not limited to):

Responsible for material procurement for several ongoing projects
Obtain quotes / prices from suppliers for project specific items from drawings
Work closely with the project team to ensure orders are placed in line with programme
Liaise with the internal teams to ensure company plant use is maximised
Regular reporting of project costs against tender
Be aware of new materials and suppliers that can help assist the business
Control all purchasing administration and ensure all transactions are completed and recorded correctly
Manage any potential supply problems and work to find solutions.

You will ideally have 4 years experience working within a buying team for a developer or Main contractor and you must be willing to work from the office or site full time.

They are looking for someone who is driven and a team player and can provide ongoing training and support and a salary up to £50,000 PA + car or car allowance and bonus
