Accounts Assistant (AP)

Salary Banding:
Up too £30k

Duties

  • Processing invoices & credit notes ensure the ledger is accurate and to make sure payments are correct and on time
  • Reconciling business accounts to make sure amounts paid reflect goods and services received
  • Answering queries from suppliers, contractors and other business departments about payments made
  • Support an internal colleague with processing contractor payments, bonuses, and expenses
  • Supporting onsite accountant & SMT with adhoc requests

Experience & Desired Traits

  • Ability to process invoices and resolve queries efficiently
  • Must be a competent user of Excel
  • Work reliably without supervision
  • Previous experience of SAGE is beneficial
  • Be able to adapt, and prioritise within a fast paced environment
