Butler rose are partnered with an NHS Trust in Ashton-under-Lyne who, due to internal promotion, are looking for a Band 7 Assistant Finance Business Partner to take on a contract for a minimum 6-month period.

There could also be the opportunity for furthercontract extensions. This Trust foster a good team spirit where everyone pulls together & bounce off each other. Many staff have also been there a considerable amount of time. They boast a strong financial position and an excellent CQC rating. In addition,the Trust are receiving extensive investment so it's a great place to be right now.

Your new role as Band 7 Assistant Finance Business Partner:
As this role is working for a small NHS Trust, you will be hands-on and get involved in a wide variety of duties in this demanding, yet exciting position, including:
Assisting the Finance Business Partner in pulling together all the financial information to a coherent position

Acting as the outward face of finance and collecting information from Budget holders, Divisional Managers, Clinicians & other stakeholders.

Delivering the financial position on a monthly basis & telling the story behind the numbers

Preparation of Management Accounts

Forecasting

The Experience & Qualifications Required:

Prior NHS experience in a similar job is preferred

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or Part Qualified Accountant in final stages

Must be able to communicate effectively with Finance & Non-Financial staff and be able to convey complex financial information to non-Finance in a simple manner

Willingness to get stuck into the detail

Ability to use Excel to interpret large volumes of data

Pay rate:

As Band 7 Assistant Finance Business Partner, you shall receive

A pay rate of between £ £31 per hour depending on experience and your chosen payment method
