The Role


The Senior Manager, On Board Sales (OBS) & Loyalty for P&O Cruises owns and leads the strategic direction of this key sales channel and additionally the Peninsular Club programme, and in addition to indirectly leading the circa 32 ship-based Loyalty andCruise Sales Managers, you are accountable to drive On Board Sales and Loyalty.


  • Full accountability to meet and exceed targets year on year for on board sales for P&O Cruises. On Board Sales is the sales channel where guests book their future cruise whilst on board their current cruise holiday with us. It's a sizeable revenue streamwith great opportunity.
  • P&O Cruises lead for the Peninsular Club programme in it's entirety, full P&L and operational elements. The first priority will be to lead a review of our Peninsular Club programme with the support of an external specialised agency to determine key areasof opportunity and pull together a longterm proposal.


Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities.

This role is a CUK06 and is offered on a full time, permanent with at least two days based in our Southampton office.

  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Be an effective communicator, both written and verbal and via presentations
  • Be an analytical thinker with the ability to interpretation data
  • Have knowledge of guest data systems and guest data legislative understanding
  • Be able to effectively support and coaching your team and on board colleagues
  • Experience in the loyalty industry; managing loyalty programmes and keeping abreast of best practice
