We are looking for an enthusiastic, diligent and hard-working person to join our busy Information Access Team, which sits within the Information Management Branch on a Temporary basis to cover secondees.


This role has the potential to be an Agile role after successful training and competency assessments, which means working hours have some flexibility, to allow a good home/work/life balance, and there is an element of home working each week.

Days spent in the Office will be at FHQ.

The role is also responsible for providing information to insurance companies under the ABI Memorandum of Understanding.


To perform this role, applicants need a good working knowledge of the Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts, a basic awareness of Information Security and knowledge of the basic principles of records management.

You will have experience in the use of computer systems, standard software packages and the use of spreadsheets and databases.

You will be experienced in writing letters and confident dealing with inbound calls from members of the public, Information applicants, third parties and Officers etc.


You will have the ability to work on a number of tasks simultaneously and manage a broad and divergent workload as well as having the ability to assimilate and analyse information quickly, while working under pressure to achieve targets and deadlines.
