Senior Finance Officer - Remote Working
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum

37.5 hours a week

RG Accountancy are working with a Global Charitable Organisation who are looking to add a Senior Finance Officer to their Manchester based team on a fully remote basis.

This role will consist of working closely with Finance team, reporting into the Financial Controller and assisting them in the below duties

Job Requirements:

Assist with financial reporting
Supervise Junior Finance Officers.
Authorising payments
Prepare annual statutory accounts
Prepare annual budgets.
Collate any changes for salaries each month to send to our outsourced monthly payroll service provider. Then check any amendments to the monthly payroll.
Ensure that all travel invoices are properly accounted by way of quotation request forms, payment authorisation forms, and posting in Xero.
Liaising with the team on queries regarding financial transactions and procedures

The Person

Part qualified Chartered Accountant with 5 years experience ideally in the charity sector.
Able to travel to Manchester, UK for training during the probation period.
Excellent organisational skills, and attention to detail.
UK Payroll experience desirable
Audit experience desirable.
