I am working with a business based in Burton on Trent looking for a financial accountant.


Client Details


My client are a manufacturing business based in the Burton on Trent area looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team.

They are specifically looking for somebody with operations and recovery costing experience.

The business can offer hybrid working with a 1pm finish on a Friday. As well as a salary offering up to £40,000 and the opportunity of study support.


Description

  • Develop systems to ensure the efficient and effective management of the Operating Unit financial ledgers and accounting processes
  • Responsible for managing the monthly financial close process to ensure that financial information is supplied to the organisation in a timely and effective manner
  • Develop systems to ensure the efficient and effective management of financial data for the preparation of financial accounts
  • Responsible for the month end management accounts submission into HFM
  • Maintaining the financial ledgers of the operating unit to support the month end reporting process and ensure all accounts reconciled and reviewed
  • Coordinate and support the Shared Service Team for month end and reporting activities

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience of presenting financial data
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership, motivation and influencing skills
  • Performance orientated
  • Able to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines

Job Offer

  • Salary between £30,000 £40,000 depending on experience
