WHAT IS ON OFFER?

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Operational Resilience and Business Continuity to join our team in Liverpool and advance their career with a Company at the forefront of the TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) industry.

Workingin this role as part of the wider Risk team, you will collaborate with Alfred H Knight's business functions supporting the continuous identification and improvement of our operations, processes and technologies.

You will also be responsible for developingan Operational Resilience framework, with the aim of achieving a consistent approach across the Group.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential knowledge, skills and behaviours

Showcasing the applicable business continuity and resilience standards alongside industry good practice and standards.
Demonstrable knowledge of the BCM lifecycle with experience in the implementation and management of business continuity.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills as appropriate and tailored to the needs of the audience.
Excellent organisational skills; with the ability to balance priorities to meet multiple deadlines.
Outstanding Crisis Management and Strategic thinking.

Required Work Experience

Demonstrated experience in corporate risk management and/or related industry experience with emphasis on managing global risk exposures.

Desirable Work Experience

Experience of a multinational group environment
Experience in a Laboratory environment

Required Travel

Periodic travel will be required between the Group's UK operational sites.
Overseas travel may be required but will be less frequent.
