Senior Buyer

What the opportunity looks like:


Garrett Green are working on behalf of a Manufacturing company based in central Wales who are looking for a Buyer or Senior Buyer to join the growing Purchasing function.

This role will be managing high value, low volume suppliers managing the Inventory flow and supplier relationships.


This role will be well suited to a Buyer, Senior Buyer, Inventory Controller, Inventory Coordinator, Inventory Planner, Supply Chain Coordinator, Supply Chain Planner or an Account Manager in a Manufacturing Industry.


What you will be doing:


  • Rasing PO's and managing order book.
  • MRP Management tracking all orders accurately and in real time,
  • Supplier Management, ensuring parts of the right quantity arte delivered OTIF.
  • Review supplier performance.
  • Improve Inventory lead time.
  • Accountability for all parts within assigned accounts.

What you will need:


  • MRP Experience.
  • Experience in an Inventory and Purchasing role.
  • Experience in a Electromechanical Industry or Manufacturing.
  • Man management and Supervisory experience is a bonus.

Salary:

£40,000 - £45,000


Salary:

£40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
