Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for a SAP Coordinator with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry. This will be a short term role for around 3 months, PAYE. It will be based at Barrow-in-Furness.


Purpose / Role

  • You will join the function to provide services including planning, cost control, document control and estimating. The team utilises an inhouse integrated project management system interfaced with proprietary systems where appropriate.

esponsibilities and duties

  • Creating a values driven, incident free reliable operations culture
  • Providing expert knowledge on SAP on a daily basis
  • Transfer of data between both systems including Time writing, Work Orders, Materials etc
  • Set up SAP Networks, Notifications & Construction Work Orders
  • Raise Purchase requisitions via Construction work orders, networks orders ensuring all documentation is attached
  • Assist with Material Master Data requests
  • Raise invoice service entries on receipt of vendor invoices
  • Provide weekly material tracking reports for the Project team


  • SAP Super User

  • Provide SAP support to end users in the department : Answer questions, provide 11 coaching
  • Implementing effective data transfer strategies
  • Maintaining an awareness of developments within SAP utilization
  • Work in collaboration with others to deliver agreed outcomes.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • High competency level in SAP is essential to this role
  • Oil industry experience essential including Brownfield Modifications


  • SAP Super User
background
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word & Excel etc.)
  • Good communication skills
  • Selfconfident, approachable, flexible with a "can do" attitude
