Description
Our office in Bamber Bridge, Preston, is a busy, friendly environment and the central hub for the charity. Day to day communications can range from dealing with Trustees, staff, volunteers, sponsors, the general public and other stakeholders. With enquiries and requests coming from across the organisation, the day can sometimes dramatically change from planned activities. The office responds supportively to requests from other departments and has regular contact with them.

It is also responsible for arranging internal meetings and assisting with the collection and processing of information for the Charity.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful and motivated individual to join the team. You will provide a friendly customer service role to service users.

You should have a calm, organised and professional manner, with the skills to provide general receptionist duties, administration and Assistant support.

You will need to be computer literate and willing to learn new skills and our internal procedures.

You should be proactive and be able to use initiative in your approach to supporting the Executive Team and Chief Executive Officer and in carrying out all other administrative duties.

You will be responsible for handling both internal and external communications and meetings and will possess the IT skills to do this effectively and efficiently.

Excellent oral and written communication skills will be essential as you will undertake the servicing of meetings, minute taking and diary management.

You will have organisational, prioritisation and communication skills and as this is a busy role, you must be able to manage multiple tasks at any single time.

We offer 25 days holidays per annum (increasing with length of service), plus bank holidays and three occasional days during the Christmas and New year period.

A friendly and flexible working environment with the chance to be a part of the largest nature conservation body in the area, working together to improve our region for nature as well as engaging and inspiring people to connect and take action for wildlife.
