An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our PBS team who support children with complex needs, learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders and behaviors that challenge.
You will work directly with the young people to provide care and support to meet their needs and develop their independence and life skills, implementing evidence-based interventions and PBS plans to reduce behaviors of concern and improve quality of life.
Yearly salary includes bonus £20 uplift per night (Average nights 3.5 per week)_
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- To contribute to the Care Planning process of children cared for by Family Care Group
- To support young people with any personal care needs Undertake moving and handling in line with policies and procedures.
- To attend and contribute to your supervision sessions and appraisal processes.
- To represent the company when called upon to do so by exhibiting the highest professional standards.
- To participate in training programmes and individual training courses Undertaking waking night duties in accordance with the home's Rota
- To maintain all records in accordance with company policy, regulations, and statutory requirements
You:
- Must hold a current valid full driving license.
- Previous Residential Childcare experience is essential (Not nursery/early years)
- Experience with Learning disabilities or mental health support for adults & children is essential.
- Possessing a Level 3 in Children's and Young People's Workforce is desirable.
- Be able to work on a night shift/Rota basis waking night shifts 152 hours per month
- An enhanced DBS certificate will be required upon appointment
