Rule Purpose:

To accurately input and check all orders offering a high level of customer service at all times to our clients and customers, aiming to make the customers first impression a lasting one.

To deal with telephone queries and orders in a professional and timely manner. To generate and distribute PLOF's on weekly basis.

About The Role

Responsibilities

  • Communicate daily in a professional manner with customers and staff at all times.
  • Assist the Customer Services team to accurately input and check all orders on our internal Warehouse management system within given deadlines.
  • Generate and print PLOF's as required.
  • Deal with customer complaints and queries in a professional manner
  • Liaise with the Logistics Manager, Warehouse Manager, Credit Control & Trading Departments with regards to your duties at all times.
  • Assist Sales Team on a daily basis and provide them with relevant sales reports & documentation.
  • Ensure promotional brochures/weekly specials are printed and distributed to Sales Team in a timely manner.
  • Provide full cover for the checkout area as and when required, to include balancing till at close of business.
  • Process credit notes and notify relevant departments.
  • Ordering office supplies/stationery in line with current procedures when required.
  • Maintaining databases & using mail merge to generate relevant postal campaigns.
  • Coordinating the daily post using the portals required
  • Other administration and office duties as required.
  • To act as an ambassador for S&W Wholesale and behave in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
  • To work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.
  • Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate by your immediate manager.

Required Criteria

  • Educated to at a minimum of GCSE Level or equivalent with Grade C in GCSE Maths / English
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Suitable experience of dealing with the public using a variety of communication methods.
  • Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, on own initiative or as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload
  • Ability to interpret and process large amounts of information.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel and mail merge.
  • Willingness to undertake staff training & development as required.

Desired Criteria

  • Possess or be working towards a degree or HND in a relevant discipline (e.g. business etc)
  • 35 or more years experience working in a similar type role
  • Knowledge of customer service best practice
  • Passion for customer care and service
  • Experience of in house bespoke computer systems
