Description

Gwenllian Education Centre are looking for a dynamic and committed male Teaching Assistant to join their team to work directly with a male student on a full-time basis.

Teaching Assistants at our specialist school support children between the ages of years old, educating pupils across the Autism Spectrum.

Our staff have the benefit of a high staff to pupil ratio, regular contracted school hours, access to our in-house induction and training programme, 13 weeks paid holidays a year and an opportunity to work with our specialist staff including our Specialist Teacher and Behaviour Analysts.

We are looking for individuals who have experience and knowledge of:

Supporting children with autism
Managing and supporting children that exhibit behaviours that challenge
Motivating children to learn
Effectively using ICT to support learning
Selfevaluating learning needs and actively seeking learning opportunities
Relating well to children and adults
Working constructively and flexibly as part of a team
