The Company
Seymour John are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business based in the Wolverhampton area who are looking to strengthen their AP team with the appointment of an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, your duties will include:
- Supporting delivery of Company, Finance & team supplier payment targets
- Responsible for ensuring companywide understanding of purchasing policies and procedures to facilitate all company purchases being made in adherence to them
- Accurate and timely supplier transaction processing, including matching, payment, invoice and remittance processing
- Responsible for performance of accurate administration of customer and supplier account and case notes for the responsibilities listed above
- Responsible for maintaining strong communications with all departments and personnel
- Work closely with the customer and necessary operational teams to ensure effective resolution of queries, requests and next steps
- Accurate updating of relevant systems with key information to enable operational reporting and tracking of KPIs
- Personal compliance with and suggesting improvements to the endtoend order to cash processes, policies and procedures
