Senior Merchandiser

I am currently recruiting for a Senior Merchandiser to join a well know retail brand based out of their Head Office.

You will be responsible for planning, forecasting and trading for specific season product lines. Supporting the Head of Merchandising to ensure continued growth in the department. As a Senior Merchandiser you will enjoy working in a busy fast paced retailhead office environment. Some of your key responsibilities will include;

Building relationships with internal teams to continuously develop & optimise product lines.
Deliver the Merchandising & Supply strategy.
Maximising both Sales & margins ensuring stock requirement achieved.
Working closely with internal teams to improve product forecasting
Reviewing daily & weekly trading reports to reduce stock risks.
Responsibility for stock management to increase sales & reduce obsolete stock.
Dealing & resolving any escalated central merchandise team queries
Collating figures and updating the senior Management team regularly
Working cross functionally with warehousing, shipping, finance & sales teams to optimise sales and margin, while ensuring high levels of professionalism are achieved.
Monitoring market & competitor activity

Key requirement for the role;

Previous experience within a Retail Merchandising environment
Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels
Ability to work under pressure with proven problemsolving skills.
Strong numeracy skills and ability to analyse & collate info from various sources.
Commercially aware and business focussed.
Able to manage & motivate your team to achieve both individual and team goals.
Excellent understanding of all MS Office products especially Excel
