Hybrid working: 3 days In Thame support office, 2 days working from home
The job in a nutshell
As a Team Leader for the Sales Administration Team you will be supporting the delivery of Group Sales and Travel Trade budgeted revenue targets by ensuring all sales administration, bookings and data tasks are completed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner.
You will do this by managing a team of colleagues who are tasked with the timely and accurate completion of these tasks, whilst ensuring daily reporting, KPI and compliance checks are completed.
What you'll be doing
- Support the Head of Reservations in the delivery of the vision and direction for your team, focusing them to achieve and exceed their objectives.
- Manage the day to day operations and the relationship with external clients' distribution and financial teams to deliver an accurate booking and invoicing process reducing cost related errors.
- Manage the twice yearly Travel Trade contracting and the smooth distribution of allocated rooms.
- Supporting the Finance team by ensuring compliance to agreed processes.
- Lead, manage and develop an engaged and high performing team of administrators who are responsible for post sale administration, transient bookings and data tasks.
- Ensuring robust talent management and succession planning is in place.
- Undertake regular performance reviews to all administrators to highlight any training needs, performance issues or trends and to celebrate success.
- Support the Group Sales Team Manager on the delivery of a measurable admin process for Groups and Events bookings ensuring that all KPI's are met.
- Take ownership of any related queries or complaints that may be received by the team and management.
- Build strong internal stakeholder relationships at all levels, promoting accountability of sales performance, communication, problem resolution and innovation.
To succeed in the role, you will be an experienced administrator who is confident in the management of a team and to be able to support the development of individuals.
In addition, the role requires:
- The ability to work well under pressure.

- Excellent communications and relationship building skills.
- Results driven, selfmotivated, flexible and resilient.
- Good knowledge of google apps and excel spreadsheets.
