Job Summary
We are looking to recruit an experienced Machine Operator to join our manufacturing department in Manchester, we have a lot of upcoming projects and need to expand our team to meet growing demand
The successful applicant will have experience of following Technical Drawings and mixing/ pouring Polyurethane Foam and Polyurethane (or very similar)
Responsibilities
- Managing the machine, following startup and shutdown procedures, cleaning schedules and fault finding.
- Hand mix smaller quantity materials, accurately measuring, mixing and dispensing
- Following Technical Drawings to find the correct moulds and embedded components, pour the chemicals to the required specification and measurements.
- Keep all department equipment maintained, ensuring area is kept clean and tidy.
- Be responsible for the wellbeing and health & safety of both yourself and fellow workers.
Personal Attributes:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy levels.
- Willing to be involved in improvement activities.
- Comfortable communicating with people at all levels and have a positive approach to challenging situations.
- Ability to work in a small team and assist other departments when required.
- Ability to follow within set guidelines procedures and to follow work instructions / manuals.
- Strong experience with Technical Drawings/BOM and hands on experience
What we can offer
Applicants must reside in the Manchester area. We have moved to a new facility in Salford, just a 3min walk from Exchange Quay Tram Stop

40 hours per week (8 hours per day, between 8:30am start until 5:30pm finish, 1 hour lunch).
Salary - starting from £22,000-24,000 depending on experience, please let us know your expectations
24 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
