You will work as part of a large team, supporting other team members and will need to work closely with clinic prep staff, medical secretaries, outpatient and medical staff and with clerical supervisors and managers throughout the hospitals to deliver the Access targets and a patient focused booking service.


We are looking to appoint a Patient Booking Clerk to work in a call centre environment at Ysbyty Gwynedd Bangor to provide a professional, efficient and effective centralised booking service for a variety of outpatient clinics.


You will need to use initiative in sometimes complex situations to ensure that patients are booked in line with local and national Access targets.

You will work as part of a large team, supporting other team members and will need to work closely with clinic prep staff, medical secretaries, outpatient and medical staff and with clerical supervisors and managers throughout the hospitals to deliver the Access targets and a patient focused booking service.

The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this role.

Working in a highly pressurised Booking Team, within a busy call centre environment.

You will need to provide an accurate and efficient administrative function to facilitate the delivery of a professional and effective service for patients.

You will need to work as part of a large multi disciplinary team ensuring the delivery of Access targets and a patient focused booking service
