Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor on a temporary contract.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Delivering excellent customer service by efficiently managing/resolving customer enquiries to the highest standards through existing channels and upcoming digital contact channels
- Listening/engaging with our customers, supporting them to access our services through a range of evolving channels
- Providing help to those who need assistance to access our services, influencing those who can to do their daytoday business online, accessing services independently to selfserve
- Utilising your passion/skills for online technology to switch channels seamlessly, e.g., when an issue needs to be taken offline, or jumped into webchat
- Engaging with customers on public channels where information/advice would be beneficial to a wider audience
- Working within the agreed customer service standards/social media protocols/council policies, performing against agreed targets and service level agreements
- Maintaining a high level of care/accuracy when handling customer information/records within the council's customer contact system
- Taking ownership of customer enquiries, providing the appropriate level of advice/guidance
- Processing customer payments, ensuring all financial information is input into the appropriate systems
- Promoting digital channels appropriate to customer type/need, helping customers in the use of digital transactions
- Recording information from council officers regarding safeguarding
- Administering the complaints across all council services including vulnerable children and adults following statutory guidelines, supporting these contacts through the process, providing clear and concise information
- Any other relevant duties as required
Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 2 months
Salary:
£12.02 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Oldbury: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
