Bendi Forklift Driver / Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bendi Forklift Driver / Operator to join our engineering team in Bristol, SouthWest BS1.

As a Bendi Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maneuvering the forklift safely to move materials, products, and equipment within the facility.

Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to workplace safety will contribute to the smooth operations of our company.

Skills:

Valid certification or license as a Bendi Forklift Driver
Proven experience operating a Bendi forklift in an industrial setting
Excellent handeye coordination and spatial awareness
Strong understanding of workplace safety guidelines and procedures
Ability to read and interpret work orders or instructions accurately
Proficient in basic math calculations (e.g., measuring dimensions)
Good communication skills

Responsibilities:

Safely operate the Bendi forklift to transport goods within the facility.
Load/unload trucks or containers using the forklift.
Stack materials/products on pallets or racks following proper stacking techniques.
Verify product quantities against shipping/receiving documents.
Conduct routine inspections of the forklift before each shift; report any defects or malfunctions immediately.
Ensure all inventory movements are properly documented.
Maintain cleanliness of work area; adhere to general housekeeping standards.
Meet productivity targets while ensuring accuracy in tasks performed.

Qualifications:

Associate degree preferred but not required.
Prior experience as a Bendi Forklift Operator is essential.
Demonstrated ability to operate heavy machinery efficiently without compromising safety regulations.
