About our client
We are looking for an experienced Investor Relations Associate Director to join one of Europe's fastest growing private equity growth funds.
Our client is a leading growth and buy-out investor with an outstanding track record and a best-in-class investmentteam. Their Investor Relations team is small and entrepreneurial.This is a great opportunity for a highly organised, detail-orientated and commercially minded professional to work as a number two to the Head of IR.
What the job involves
Lead project management efforts and service the existing investor base.
This is a strategic position within the fund and this person will regularly interface with key internal and external stakeholders and will be instrumental in the development and positioningof existing and new products.
- Take ownership of the project management function, working creatively and proactively to ensure best in class service to the institutional investor base
- Act as the main point of contact for investors for the purpose of ongoing relationship management, hosting initial meetings as required, update calls and managing coinvestment and secondary processes
- Oversight of the production of key fundraising materials
- PPM, DDQ, Data Room, Track Record Data cuts, Investor DDQs ownership of content and updates to LPs
- Managing the process around responses to investor requests alongside the fund administrators
- Coordination with Finance and Legal/Compliance on LP reporting obligations
- Management of selected junior team members
Who we are looking for:
- Educated to degree level. Experience in an investor relations or client servicing role or a placement agent
- Excellent communicator, both orally and in written material, able to craft eloquent and succinct messages
- Able to communicate confidently with senior stakeholders
- Strong organisational and project management skills with a proactive approach to work
- Accounting or finance qualification preferred
- Experience in private markets is essential
