Our client is a manufacturing company who specialise in Electronic manufacturing.

They are currentlylooking for an
Assembly Operativeto join their busy and hardworking team.


The ideal
Assembly Operative will possess a mechanical and industrial background, have an understanding of elementary engineering and be able to work independently.

As an
Assembly Operative you will be supporting processes and running the machines as an assistant to the existing operator.


The ideal Assembly Operative will possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Demonstrable experience within a similar role
  • Have a Mechanical and industrial background
  • Possess a good eye for detail and inspection
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Health and Safety

Your duties as an Assembly Operative would be:

  • Supporting wave soldering processes, running the machines as an assistant to the existing operator (Full Operational training will be provided)
  • Reporting any concerns or faults with the equipment or processes
  • Quality checking of the product being soldered
  • Twice daily maintenance of machines
  • Cleaning/removing dross from the solder pot

Salary:

- £9.18 per hour (22 and Under)
- £9.50 per hour (23 and Over)


Hours:

Monday - Thursday; 7.30am - 4.30pm

Friday; 7.30am - 1.30pm

Hastings, East Sussex
