Description
This is an exciting role to support growth in a fast-paced organisation.

You will be working with an outsourced HR provider on more complex issues, whilst having the opportunity to work alongside the management team supporting them with generalist HR internally from an operational and administrative perspective.


This is a fantastic opportunity to also work with and contribute positively on areas such as HR policy, workplace wellbeing and employee engagement.


The role will require an element of working onsite, however we are open to discussing hybrid or flexible working options.


Main Duties

HR Administration

  • Efficiently manage the Breathe HR software system in order to maintain the integrity of employee data, policies and procedures, sickness and absence data and case information relating to HR processes such as disciplinary, grievance and absence management.
  • Populate contracts of employment for new employees.
  • Calculate holiday entitlement.
  • Support with daytoday HR matters and provide HR procedural advice to line managers, individuals and teams across the business.
  • Prepare basic HR documents and letters to support HR processes such as job descriptions, probation letters, contract variations, letters pertaining to formal HR interventions and resignation acknowledgements.
  • Preparation for HR meetings and note taking.
  • Maintain data to ensure compliance with UK GDPR.
  • Carry out audits of HR data and ensure that any gaps are addressed in a timely manner.

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Effectively manage the internal recruitment process to include job design, agreement with stakeholders, job description, coordination of job adverts and appointment and liaison with recruitment agencies, where appropriate.
  • Oversee all preemployment screening and requirements including DBS checks where appropriate.

Design, deliver and maintain an effective Induction and Probation processes which reflect the needs of all teams across the group.


Employee Relations

  • Support the absence management process, including internal meetings, referrals to occupational health and access to medical reports.
  • Deal with HR issues, concerns and queries and ensure that they are recorded and actioned in an acceptable time frame.
  • Plan and coordinate staff events sensitively ensuring the diversity of events ensures inclusion is reflected for the whole employee demographic.
  • Positively contribute to a culture which embraces equality, diversity and inclusion, employee engagement and workplace wellbeing.
  • Manage the effective internal communication of all people and HR related matters.
  • Maintain a robust performance management system ensuring that documents are effective and the delivery and coordination of 121s and appraisals.
  • Provide support to line managers in the management of performance issues.
  • Support and manage the exit process, ensuring that relevant data is captured and acted upon to improve retention where required.

General

  • Manage own workload and calendar to meet priorities.
  • Maintain own continuous professional development.
  • Any other duties commensurate with role.

£23,500.00-£25,000.00 per year

Education:


  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Human resources: 2 years (preferred)
